David Ray Griffin en 2006.

David Ray Griffin, né en 1939, est un professeur retraité de philosophie de la religion et de théologie de l'Université de Claremont (États-Unis) ^[1], spécialiste de la théologie du Process^[2].

Sur le 11 Septembre

Il a soulevé une vive polémique en consacrant en 2004 un ouvrage, Le Nouveau Pearl Harbor, à la théorie présentant les attentats du 11 septembre 2001 comme le fruit d'un complot intérieur, reprenant et discutant surtout les livres de Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed et Paul Thompson. Selon lui, les explications alternatives offrent une rigueur et une qualité logique bien supérieure aux explications du gouvernement.

Par la suite, il a publié un second ouvrage critiquant la composition, la méthode et le rapport de la Commission d'enquête Kean. Enfin, dans son ouvrage le plus récent, 11 Septembre, la Faillite des médias, une conspiration du silence (2007), il revient sur les différentes tentatives des médias dominants, dont Popular Mechanics, pour contrer les arguments de ceux qui doutent de la version officielle des attentats.

Il est membre du mouvement Scholars for 9/11 Truth & Justice^[3] et s'inscrit plus globalement dans le 9/11 Truth Movement.
